The Client's Challenge
To design the packaging experience of the world’s first portable connected ultrasound in a manner that amplifies the brand, celebrates the product, and optimizes the first-time-use to be confident and friction-free.
The Strategic Approach
Working collaboratively with the Vave health team and our packaging partners, we explored configurations and layers of the experience that staggered the user’s understanding of the product setup, use, and ongoing care.
The Creative Solution
The Box Clever team created a carefully layered experience that achieves the objectives in a compact design.
Presenting the 3-step process on the double-sided intro card aims to lower the anxiety for first-time and re-use. Showcasing the device in the custom vacuum formed tray ensures the product is protected during shipment, understood when first seen, and easy to remove.
The Business Impact
Launched October 2020.
The packaging design for Vave was created holistically by the team responsible for the device - ensuring a coherent design language connected the two - and ultimately creates a premium presentation of this first-to-the-world breakthrough product.
