The Strategic Approach
Our design approach centers around an emotionally captivating ‘floating effect’. Skylight’s Calendar Max hangs magically on a wall casting a beautiful shadow that dynamically moves through the rise and fall of the sun, making the product feel naturally at home.
Our design approach reimagines smart calendars, from referential picture frames, into a modern decor-driven aesthetic thanks to magnetically attached frames that come in Aluminum, Wood, or Plastic, all with the distinctive and modern Skylight silhouette.
Ownable + Decor Driven
Skylight’s new ownable Design Language was created after strategically evaluating concept directions relative to the competition and discussing how multiple elements can combine to create a unique decor-driven not tech-driven aesthetic. This includes the product silhouette, corner detailing, frame design, materials, and CMF.
